After the appointment, the name of Robert Hur has not stopped ringing in the media and social networks because it is a former federal prosecutor appointed by Donald Trump who prosecuted gang violence, drug trafficking and firearms offenses, as well as white collar crimes while serving as the United States Attorney for the District of Maryland from 2018 to 2021.
Before Trump’s appointment, Hur worked for the Chief JusticeWilliam Rehnquist, of the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as for Judge Alex Kozinski of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
