Gavin Newsom revealed in an interview with Fox News that during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 not only did he have good communication with the former president donald trumpbut it took an “amazing relationship”In addition, he regretted the new federal accusation that falls on the former president.
“I did not have a closed fist. I had an open hand. In fact, we had an amazing relationship during COVID-19. It was incredible“Revealed the governor.
AND assured that Trump took the pandemic very seriously, which has earned him hundreds of accusations, “he would not play politics during COVID-19 with California. No game at all. It is a fact. And by the way, I’ve gotten a lot of flak from the left for saying that.”
During the Interview, Newson was questioned about the 37 Charges fall on Trump’s shoulders for his mishandling of more than 100 classified documents found in his Mar-a-Lago mansion.
Although he tried not to delve into the subject, he did say the allegation was “sad”and he didn’t say it like Gavin Newson, but like another American.
“And I say that as an American”he pointed.
Of the 37 charges Trump faces, 31 accuse him of knowingly withholding national defense information. and the other six allege that the former president made a series of false statements, withheld documents from investigators, obstructed justice and allegedly conspired to do these things, NBC reported.
The White House hopeful still faces two criminal investigationsan investigation of Jack Smith into the pro-Trump riot over the Capitol assault in 2021, as well as an investigation in Georgia to determine if he tried to interfere with the 2020 presidential election in that state.
Later, host Sean Hannity asked Newsom if he believed that Joe Biden was “cognitively strong to be a president.”
“I have conservations with him all the time, yes. I mean it,” she replied.
