Riley June Williams, 23, who has been under house arrest since Jan. 21, 2021 for stealing Nancy Pelosi’s personal computer during the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, has been allowed to break her arrest to who can attend the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
The young woman, who has been indicted on a number of charges in connection with the deadly insurrection at the US Capitol, was given the green light by a federal judge to break her house arrest so she can attend a recreational event.
According to court documents, a judge granted a motion by Riley June Williams’ attorneys to allow her to attend the fairwhere attendees are known to turn out in medieval dress, drink mead and eat turkey legs for eight hours, from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
Following the riots at the capitol, Riley’s ex-boyfriend June Williams revealed to authorities that his then-girlfriend had stolen Nancy Pelosi’s laptop and that he intended to sell it to Russian intelligence agents.
Riley June Williams confirmed what her then-partner said by posting on social media that he had stolen the political laptop and that he was not afraid of anything.
“I stole crap from Nancy Pelosi,” he wrote. “I don’t care, I took Nancy Pelosi hard drives, I don’t care, kill me.”
The young woman’s legal representative regretted that her client “bite the hook” of then President Donald Trump, but he never denied that he was responsible for stealing Pelosi’s computer.
