Addressing the Azadi parade Imran Khan said that opposition criticizing Pakistan’s Army Chief and members of Inter-Services Intelligence ISI demonstrates that he had appointed the right people on these positions.
Islamabad, Pakistan: On Sunday Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan spoke with the Azadi parade marking the 73rd independence day of Gilgit Baltistan.
Responding to a comment made by the opposition he said that these thieves (opposition) displaying reasonings against the army chief a d ISI member proves his selection was right.
Nawaz Sharif the leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML-N and three-times former Prime Minister of Pakistan addressing the anti-government campaign made speeches against the military.
Nawaz Sharif had accused that the ISI General director Lt. Gen Faiz Hameed had asked him to resign back in 2017 during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure as Prime Minister. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on basis of corruption.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has reacted strongly saying that Nawaz Sharif and his party is promoting the enemy’s narrative and defaming state institutions.
Commenting about Ayaz Sadiq’s remarks about Abhinanand’s release he said Ayaz is narrating the agenda of Modis.
He further said that after the Pulwama incident, world leaders congratulated him on his effective handling of the situation. He said that Narendra Modi’s whole election campaign was based on a hate narrative.
The whole purpose of these actions of the opposition is to let them go and remove the corruption charges from them. Imran Khan said that their sole purpose of blackmailing is to try and get a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Imran Khan congratulated the people of the province of Gilgit Baltistan and paid tribute to the GB scout and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this region.
He said that the decision to give Gilgit Baltistan the status of a province has been taken in view of the rules of United Nations Security rules.
He said that he looks forward to the punishment of culprits.
Imran Khan also said his first priority is to fix the economy.
During his visit, he also visited the national park in Astore to review the making of Diamer – Basha dam.
