Ritu Nanda was the mother in law of his sister Shweta. Abhisekh Bachchan spoke to the publication; he quoted it is true that there has been a death in the family this year. He said that his sister’s mother-in-law Ritu Nanda had been passed away, and he also exclaimed that no kind of parties should be hosted in this kind of coronavirus situation.

Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were all admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai.
