From now on you can find Tupperware products in all Target stores

Starting this Monday, October 3 Tupperware products will be available in Target stores throughout the country. This represents a significant change for the kitchen and home goods company in 76 years.

The CEO of the plastic packaging company Miguel Fernandez announced the launch in a post on LinkedIn.

“Younger customers less familiar with direct sales will now find our brand in retail and from there they can develop personalized relationships,” said.

Traditionally, Tupperware’s business scheme only allowed purchase of the famous food storage containers through “Tupperware parties” at home or on the website, except for some pilot programs with HomeGoods, Bed Bath and Beyond and Target.

“Customers already love Tupperware parties, whether in person or online, now they can also pick up their favorite food storage essentials at a store near them.”Fernandez said.

Shoppers at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com will be able to find a wide variety of containers in different sizes and container packs. priced between $7.99 and $79.99.

The partnership with the chain store is part of Tupperware’s strategy to reinvent the brand, with plans to grow the business across multiple retail channels and reach younger consumers who have never experienced the Tupperware party era.

The first change made by the company occurred last June when it was announced that the products would be sold through Amazon. Nevertheless, the company won’t shy away from Tupperware parties, which will eventually happen.

For its part, Target has also made other agreements, such as the one it made in September with the company FAO Schwartz to sell its toys at a price between $9.99 and $149.99.

The store company is gearing up for the fall sales season. For this, it prepares the hiring of 100,000 employees.
