Tako: TikTok is testing its own AI chatbot

TikTok, the popular short video platform, is taking its quest for innovation a step further by introducing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot called Tako.. Tako is currently in testing in select markets, offering users a new way to interact with the content they are viewing.

With Tako, TikTok users can use natural language to ask you questions about the video they’re currently watching.. This function provides a more interactive and dynamic experience, allowing users to obtain additional information or clarify doubts related to the content that interests them.

In addition to answering questions about the ongoing video, Tako can also be used to receive video recommendations on a specific topic.. Users can simply express interest in a given topic, and the chatbot will use its AI to offer related video suggestions. This makes it easy to discover relevant content and helps users explore different areas of interest on TikTok.
