One of the most exciting announcements was the return of a nineties icon: F-Zero 99, which is now available. This sequel to the original game, released in 1990 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), transports us to the year 2560, in a future where futuristic vehicle racing is a popular sport. Players will be able to take control of one of 30 available pilots, each with their own spaceship and special abilities.. The racing spirit is more alive than ever, as you can see in the video shared by Nintendo on its YouTube channel.
Another exciting announcement is the remake of the first game in the series, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, originally released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. This new version, with the same name, will be available for Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2024. The game will feature updated graphics, a two-player cooperative mode, and new levels and challenges. Besides, Players will be able to unleash their creativity with the “Designer Challenge” feature, allowing them to create their own custom levels.
One legendary franchise that made its appearance is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Although it is a 2D delivery, this game transports us to the early days of the franchise and immerses us in an Arab fantasy world. It will be available from January 18, 2024.
