    Trump unleashes his fury on networks and calls prosecutor Smith a “crazed lunatic” for the case of classified documents

    donald trump turned to Truth Social to attack the special counsel of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Jack Smith, moments after the special counsel’s office detailed the 37 felony charges against the former president for having illegally stored hundreds of classified documents in his Mar-a-Lago mansion.

    As on other occasions, the candidate for the White House launched a series of insults against Smith, whom he even called a “deranged lunatic”, as well as “a hater of Trump”, in addition to a “psychopath who should not be involved in any case that has to do with Justice.”

    Trump also took the opportunity to make a clarification regarding an image made public by the Department of Justice where You can see several documents on the floor; according to the former president, said image “It clearly shows that there were no documents, but newspapers, personal photos, etc.”

    As if that were not enough, Trump pointed out the investigation into Classified documents found at Joe Biden’s Delaware home as well as in his former Washington office, alleging that the president “moved his boxes all over the place”

    Trump closed his message by assuring that this case is nothing more than a “Witch hunt!”.

    Thursday afternoon Donald Trump was indicted for 37 federal crimes for allegedly knowingly removing classified documents from the White House and driving them to Mar-a-Lago after his term ended and coordinating a cover-up of his conduct.

    Of the 37 counts, 31 accuse Trump of knowingly withholding national defense information. and the other six allege that the former president made a series of false statements, withheld documents from investigators, obstructed justice and allegedly conspired to do these things, NBC reported.

    Among the files were documents on “United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the US and its allies to a military attack (as well as) plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack”.

    Trump was not the only defendant, so was his assistant Walt Nautawho at Trump’s direction moved several boxes of classified documents in an effort to hide them from investigators.
