    NYPD protects court from possible Trump arrest and protests

    The NYPD is putting up fences to protect the Manhattan Criminal Courtafter former President Donald Trump said he will be arrested on Tuesday and called for protests.

    The elements of the NYPD already protect the areafor contain possible protesters, while preparing for other actions, since this Monday at noon he is holding meetings with state and federal agencies.

    Saturday, Former President Trump called on his supporters to “take back the nation”after affirming his arrest.

    This Monday, lawyer Robert Costello testifies before a grand jury, after which a Indictment against former President Trump.

    The investigation is into the $130,000 payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels made by Trump, in order to prevent her from speaking about their relationship.

    Michel Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, was also called on Monday to challenge Costello’s statements, since they could be against the case.

    The White House is vigilant about possible demonstrations, acknowledged John Kirby, spokesman for the National Security Council.

    “We monitor if there are any protests of any kind on any issue, and frankly about this, let them be peaceful,” he said on Fox News. “We are working hand in hand with local and state authorities across the country, and we will continue to monitor this to the best of our ability.”
