The state dinner that the White House offered in honor of the French president Emmanuel Macron Last December continues to give a lot to talk about and not precisely because of the opulence of that day, but because of the comments, smiles and meetings that took place, such as the one in Hunter Biden and the mother of Kevin McCarthy.
According to a New York Times report, Hunter Biden was among the first to arrive at the White House State Dinner and met with the now Speaker of the House of Representatives, who arrived accompanied by his mother Roberta, 82 years old. Even though Hunter and Kevin aren’t the best of friends, The controversial son of the president approached the Republican to greet him and incidentally throw a compliment to his mother.
“Mrs. McCarthy, you look beautiful.” Hunter Biden told Roberta McCarthy, according to a witness who was at the scene in the aforementioned medium.
During their meeting Hunter told McCarthy’s mother with a smile “I am a friend of your son.”
