donald trump came to the defense of the former vice president of the United States, Mike Pencefollowing revelations that classified documents were found in his Indiana home.
He is “an innocent man”, this is how Trump described Pence Through a message that he posted on his Truth Social platform, “Mike Pence is an innocent man. He never knowingly did anything dishonest in his life. Leave him alone!”
Trump’s message came after Pence’s lawyer, Greg Jacob, revealed that he mentioned the National Archives earlier this month about a “small number of documents that may contain confidential or classified information embedded in the records” had been found at his home and that the FBI collected the documents after the findings.
CNN reported that Mike Pence requested a search out of an abundance of caution following separate revelations that classified documents had been found in the residence and former office of President Joe Biden.
According to the aforementioned medium, in the politician’s house they found four boxes where there was a small amount of documents with official seals.
This finding occurs when the former vice president would be thinking of running for president in 2024.
Donald Trump is also in the middle of the scandal after the discovery of More than 300 classified documents found in his Mar-a-Lago home and that the former president deliberately removed from the White House once his term ended.
As the former president has mentioned, saved folders that were marked as classified, but he did not keep the documents.
