Earlier, Podolyak commented on the drone attacks on Moscow in late July, warning that the conflict “will soon spill over” into Russian territory.
Adviser to the head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak declared this Tuesday that the obtaining defense systems is more pressing for your country than entertaining the idea of peace talks.
“We need air/missile defense systems and ‘closed skies’, no “appeasement/negotiations” talks with a Russian serial killer,” the adviser to the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, said on Twitter.

Also, the Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly stated that they will agree to enter into a dialogue with Moscow only after the withdrawal of Russian troops and the restoration of control over the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Donetsk People’s Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye, which joined Russia in 2022 after holding respective referendums, and the Crimean peninsula, which joined in 2014.
For his part, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed at a press conference at the end of the Russia-Africa Summit that Russia has never refused to hold peace negotiations to resolve the conflict.
Earlier, Podolyak commented on the drone attacks on Moscow in late July and warned that the conflict “will soon spill over” into Russian territory, which will bring “more unidentified dronesmore collapse, more civil conflict, more war”.
