The phrase arises from the analysis of the cell phone of one of the defendants for the assassination attempt.
The vice president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, released a message from one of the suspects in the attempt on her life, which occurred on September 1.
“We just tried to kill Cristina”reads a message that was found on the cell phone of Gabriel Carrizo, known as the head of the ‘gang of drinks’, whom the former president classified as a co-perpetrator of the attack.
The phrase arises from the analysis of Carrizo’s mobile phone by the General Directorate of Investigations and Technological Support for Criminal Investigation (DATIP), an agency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Fernandez de Kirchner asked the Justice to prosecute the suspect, who sent that phrase to an acquaintance the same night that the assassination attempt took place, at the door of the building where the vice president resides, in the Recoleta neighborhood, Buenos Aires.

“The message you are seeing comes from the expertise on the cell phone of Gabriel Carrizo, the third detainee for the attempted murder at the door of my house. The conversations he had that same night with his contacts prove his role as co-author,” assured Cristina Kirchner from her Twitter account.
The message was sent at 11:17 p.m. on September 1, just two hours after the attempted murder, to a contact on Carrizo’s cell phone saved as “Kevin Bargas 2.”
“My employee. He wanted to shoot him. He’s going to jail”was the next message that the band leader wrote. “The weapon is mine, friend. I swear to God”he added.
Carrizo, the alleged leader of a group of sellers of cotton candy flakes, has been detained since September 14, in the framework of the case for the attack against other defendants. Among them is the man who tried to shoot the Peronist leader, Fernando Sabag Montiel, his girlfriend, Brenda Uliarte, among other alleged members of the gang.
Last week, the vice president of Argentina denounced “new and very serious” irregularities of the judge investigating the case, Maria Eugenia Capuchetti, whom she challenged for considering her continuity “at the head of the investigation” “unsustainable”.
