United States: Joe Biden ends his isolation after testing negative for Covid-19

The American president has tested negative for the second day in a row and will be able to resume his public engagements and travels. “I feel good,” he assured.

US President Joe Biden ended his strict isolation on Sunday after testing negative for Covid-19 for the second day in a row, the White House announced.

The septuagenarian leader can now go to public events “safely” and resume his travels, said his doctor Kevin O’Connor in a letter.

“I feel good,” the Democratic president assured reporters with a smile a few moments before taking a helicopter to his second home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, his first trip outside the American capital since July 20.
