The famous American park was forced to close around fifteen attractions this Monday because of the presence of a wild black bear in a tree. Specialists were still on site in the afternoon.
A wild Winnie the Pooh in the middle of the attractions. This Monday, the Florida park Disney World in Orlando closed several attractions because of the presence of a black bear in a tree, reported the American media Fox 35.
“The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was informed of the presence of a black bear in a tree inside Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom (one of the areas of the park, Editor’s note) ” the FWC said in a statement.
She continued: “Biologists from the FWC’s Bear Management Program, along with FWC law enforcement officers, are on site.”
Gradual reopening
After the closure of around fifteen major attractions in the park, several of them were quickly reopened. “We are working with the FWC and have made the decision to reopen Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park,” Disney said.
At this point, the FWC has not yet announced whether it successfully captured or relocated the black bear. According to her, he was probably looking for food as his next hibernation approached.
