The Royal Mint – the British mint – has minted the latest commemorative coin in the collection dedicated to Harry Potter, which was presented last year on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the publication of ‘Harry potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’the first book in the series written by JK Rowling.
On the reverse of the new coin 50 pence an illustration of Hogwarts School by Jim Kay appears. The most basic version retails for £11 ($13), while the colored version is £20 ($24).
