The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency reported that a passenger by the name of Yevgeny Prigozhin – the same one that the head of the Wagner group has – was on board the private plane that crashed this Wednesday in the Russian province of Tver.
It was previously reported that it is a private Embraer Legacy 600 ‘jet’ that belonged to the head of the Wagner group, Yevgueni Prigozhin.
However, at the moment there are no official data about whether the leader of the private military company was among the passengers.

In addition, reports spread that Dmitri Utkin, one of the founders and commanders of the Wagner group, was also on board. There is no official information about it.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that 10 people were on board of the aircraft, including 3 crew members. According to preliminary information, all the people who were on the plane died.
The crashed plane was en route from Moscow to Saint Petersburg. An investigation into the accident has been opened.
