A teacher attacked a tenth grader last Wednesday at a high school in Humble, Texas, in the middle of class, reports Fox 26. The English teacher is currently under investigation.
In a video, published in the media, you can see how the teacher pushed the student against a wall and then threw him to the ground. The other students intervened in the fight, trying to separate the teacher from his classmate.
Elvert Bolden, father of the teenager, called the incident “very disturbing”. The man stated that after the fight his son was bruised, limping and had to be taken to the emergency room. Bolden stated that he was concerned for the mental health of his son, adding that he “physically, he will heal.”
According to the father, the reason for the attack was that the teacher called the student’s attention for speaking too loudly, but after asking him to lower his voice, “he kept looking at his face,” to which the adolescent promised not to say anything else and moments later he was attacked.

“I want him arrested, charged. I want his teacher’s license revoked. I don’t want him to be able to go to any school in any state,” Bolden said, adding that if his son had attacked the teacher “he would have gone to jail by now.”
The Humble Independent School District issued a statement regarding the incident, saying that “the teacher has been placed on leave” and that “an investigation is ongoing, and it is unlikely that he will return when the investigation is concluded.” “This shouldn’t have happened,” “these actions are unacceptable and contrary to the standards and expectations of all employees“, reads the statement. According to the document, the Police are investigating the incident.
