A 32-year-old man, a 76-year-old woman, and a seven-year-old boy were shot by hitmen in the municipality of Soledad.
Three people were murdered in the Vina del Rey neighborhood of the Colombian department of Atlantico, in the metropolitan area of Barranquilla, by hitmen who traveled on a motorcycle to a house where they they opened fire indiscriminately against the people who were in the place.
The victims are a 32-year-old man, a 76-year-old woman and a seven-year-old boy. The first was identified as Johandry Javier Finol Labarca and the woman as Judith Ines Labarca, who would be his mother.
The man died instantly, while the other two victims were transferred to a care center, where his death was confirmed, according to what Colonel Oscar Daza, deputy operational commander of the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police, explained to the media.
The Ombudsman’s Office has issued Early Warning No. 020/18, in which it indicates that various armed structures have consolidated a network criminal to profit from drug traffickingincreasing the perpetration of crimes such as extortion.

According to the Institute for Development Studies (Indepaz), this massacre is the 39th that Colombia has suffered so far in 2023. The event occurred in an area where a multitude of criminal gangs operate, including Los Pachencas, the Gaitanista Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AGC), Los Costenos, Los Rastrojos and other local organizations.
