    The FBI inspects the Venezuelan Emtrasur plane after the Argentine Justice approved the US request to seize it

    Federal judge Federico Villena also authorized US marshals to carry out a mechanical inspection of the plane and the hangar where it will remain parked at the Ezeiza airport.

    The Argentine Justice approved this Thursday the US request. to seize a Boeing 747 aircraft owned by the Venezuelan Transportation Company Aerocargo del Sur (Emtrasur), who has been held at a Buenos Aires airport for two months, for allegedly violating the export control laws of the North American country.

    Federal judge Federico Villena ruled that the aircraft will remain at the disposal of his court and of the federal judge of Washington DC, Michael Harvey, despite the fact that a commission of parliamentarians of the National Assembly of Venezuela delivered this Thursday to the Argentine embassy in Caracas an official claim demanding the immediate return of the plane and the release of its 19 crew members, reports La Nación.
