Tension grows in the Mexican state of Zacatecas over the alleged kidnapping of the boy Teo

The parents assure that the six-year-old boy was abducted by subjects who were traveling in a blue van.

Inhabitants of the community of Chaparrosa, Villa de Cos, in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico, demand the location of the small Anthony Tadeo Nunez Trejobetter known as ‘Teo’, six years old, who was allegedly kidnapped the afternoon of December 20, 2022 in front of his house.

The parents have told local media that Teo was looking at toys from a stationery store when strangers, who were transporting in a blue van, took him away.

Given the little or no response from the authorities for the disappearance of the minor, the child’s family and the residents of Chaparrosa blocked the roads that connect the community, which led to the mobilization of the National Guard and the Fire Department.

Meanwhile, a video circulating on social networks shows the moment in which a group of people intercepted and prevented the governor from leaving a public event of the entity, David Monreal, demanding that he give an account of the investigations into the alleged disappearance of the minor.

In response, the Zacatecan president published on his networks that works in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Officesince the disappearance of the child was reported, “respecting his autonomy, to find his whereabouts and protect his integrity.”
