Subscription fee changes will increase in more than 50 countries.
The Spotify music streaming service has announced this Monday an increase in its prices for the Premium subscription, with millions of subscribers in Latin American countries and other parts of the world.
The changes in tariffs will affect 50 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Spain.
According to the statement released by the company, the market “has continued to evolve” since the launch of Spotify, in 2008, and for that reason the price increase will help the company to “continue to offer value to fans and creators.”
How much will it cost in various Latin American countries
In the case of Mexicothe Premium Student plan will cost 69 pesos per month, the Premium Individual will increase to 129 pesos, while the Premium Duo will cost 169 pesos and the Premium Family 199 pesos.
For Argentinathe Premium Student plan will cost 329 pesos per month, the Individual Premium will rise to 599 pesos, while the Duo plan will grow to 799 pesos and the Family plan to 999 pesos.
Talking about Chilithe Premium Student plan will cost 2,500 pesos, the Individual Premium will increase to 4,550 pesos, while the Premium Duo will cost 5,850 pesos and the Family plan will cost 7,050, respectively.
For his part, in Colombiathe University plan will cost 9,300 pesos per month, the Individual Premium will increase to 16,900 pesos, while the Duo plan and the Family plan will grow to 21,400 and 26,400 pesos, respectively.
