In the first of factsthree men and a woman were shot to death, while in the second event, the fatalities were found on a corner between two city streets.
“Prosecutors, Experts and Ministerial Police attached to the Tuxpan Regional Prosecutor’s Office, carry out the legal proceedings to establish the causes, find out if there is a relationship between the two events and find the whereabouts of those responsible,” explained the Public Ministry.
Veracruz, located in the Gulf of Mexico, has spent several decades with high levels of violence related to criminal gangs dedicated to crimes such as kidnapping and drug trafficking. It is an important point on the drug route from South America.
