The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, who also attended the ceremony, accused the previous government of paying little attention to defense. “The last eight years have been a time of rebuilding the Polish Army,” the president said.
American tanks appeared on the streets of Poland M1A1 Abrams and K2, HIMARS rocket launcherPatriot air defense systems, as well as Polish Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles.
Days before, the Polish president recalled that Poland sends significant aid to Ukraine and that the West must not allow the Americans “to have to shed their blood” to restore peace and freedom in the world.
