State violence cannot be disproportionate and cause death,” Correa said in a message posted on his Twitter account, which included the letter sent to Boluarte, in which he informed him of his “irrevocable resignation” from the position of Minister of education.

Boluarte declared a curfew in 15 provinces of eight departments of the country, in the midst of massive protests in favor of Castillo that have been framed by complaints of excessive use of force and human rights violations by the authorities. against the protesters.
