This game is receiving a lot of love from gamers and has become the most downloaded game in Pakistan. On the other hand, many people criticized this game and said that it has left a bad effect on their children. They do not focus on education anymore; all they do is play PUBG. They don’t even care about their exams. This can have a very bad impact on their results. Some people even say that the content of this game is too ‘violent’ and ‘inappropriate’. It gives the children and the youth a wrong teaching about shooting and killing. No positive message is given in this game, only violence is observed.

To stop giving children this kind of teaching, a petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Monday 18th May to ban the game PUBG. “The game has a negative impact on children. They are becoming more ruthless and violent,” said the petitioner’s lawyer Bilal Riaz. The lawyer requested the court that this game should not be allowed to be installed on the Google Play Store.

As a decision, the Lahore High Court directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to ban the game PUBG in six weeks time.

Most parents are happy with the decision of Lahore High Court. They say that now their children would finally be able to focus on their studies, rather than playing this kind of violent games. Any game like this can change the thinking of our children. “These kinds of games should not be allowed to be installed and should be banned,” said a parent.

On the other hand, the players of PUBG are extremely dissatisfied by this decision of the Lahore High Court.
