    Mapuche activist Jones Huala begins hunger strike in Argentina before possible extradition to Chile

The militant for the territorial rights of the Mapuche community would be taken to the Esquel prison, 285 kilometers to the south, where Jones Huala was already detained in 2017 and 2018, when he awaited the first extradition trial.

    The leader of the Mapuche Ancestral Resistance (RAM) of Argentina, was arrested on Monday in the town of El Bolson, in the mentioned province of the southern region.     The process against you

    Jones Huala was extradited from Argentina to Chile in 2018, being required by the Justice of that country for the crimes of illegally carrying firearms and for his responsibility in a fire that occurred in January 2013 at the Pisu Pisue farm, in Rio Well.
