“As a leading member of the transformation movement, I will support and hand over the baton, not the presidential sash, to lead the movement,” he said.

Once it is known who won the official nomination, he added, it will be up to him to continue governing for a year in which he will work to help the people, finish works and consolidate the transformation which began in the country when he assumed the presidency at the end of 2018.

“I have to wait for the results and then I’m going to make a statement. I don’t know exactly how (the ceremony) is going to be because we have to see what the winner, man, woman, sister or brother thinks, but yes. I would like to close that stage“, said.
