On 5 May 2018, Anvay Naik was suicidal in Alibaug and her mother Kumud Naik was also found dead at home. Alibaug is located in the Raigadh district of Maharashtra. Anvay worked as an interior designer and owned a company called Concord Designs Pvt. Ltd. It was revealed from the suicide note that three companies had refused to pay huge sums of money to Anvay, including Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV. The first of these three companies was Arnab Goswami’s ARG Outlier / Republic TV, which had to pay 83 lakh rupees. Government’s play

The BJP had the Fadnavis government in 2019 last year. At that time, the Mumbai Police had closed the case saying that they did not get enough evidence. After this, Shivsena came into power, the state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in the Uddhav government of Shiv Sena said that he has issued orders to re-examine the case from CID because the daughter of Anvay Naik has complained to him.

Naik’s family has not taken up the matter for the first time. When Sushant Singh Rajput’s entire case was covered on TV channels, Akshata Naik also posted a video on Twitter. In that video, Akshata had said that “Arnab Goswami is now questioning the Maharashtra government and Bollywood in Sushant’s suicide case, but he is responsible for the death of my husband and mother-in-law. When will they get justice?”
