The Brazilian ambassador in Moscow, Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares, declared this Wednesday that Brazil and Russia plan to produce films jointly and, now, the diplomats are in the stage of develop a bilateral agreement.

“We are actively working on a cooperation agreement in the audiovisual fieldwhich will be very important for the development of ties between the two countries in the film industry,” said the Brazilian high representative during a press conference. “I hope that, after reaching this agreement, we can carry out a film co-production,” added Baena. According to the diplomat, cooperation in this area will help the peoples of the two countries to get to know each other better.
