Some speculated that the man was actually a homeless man who was simply carrying his tent on his bicycle.
A screenshot of Google Street View has gone viral on social media that appears to show a man allegedly carrying a body on his bicycle in the state of Ohio, United States.
The image, which dates back to 2019, was shared by a user named Tami on social media, and shows an individual pushing a bicycle along Kent Street in the city of Akron. You can also see a long object that appears to be wrapped in a gray tarp and tied to the bicycle at various points.
Internet users were quick to point out that in the image the man could be seen carrying a “corpse.” Others wondered if the photographs had already been reported to the Police.
“My niece taught it to me [la foto] and I had it saved on my phone, so I decided to take a trip to Kent Street on Google to make sure it was still there. “The picture is literally worth a thousand words,” Tami wrote.
The publication, made on August 23, has been shared more than a thousand times. Internet users even claim to have “clarified” the image to discover more details, according to the New York Post. “I’ve cleared up the image. It definitely looks like he has blood on his boots,” one user commented. Another responded: “True, but who knows what the life of a homeless person entails. Maybe a dismembered body, because I don’t see any hips.”
However, some speculated that the man was actually a homeless man who was simply carrying his tent on his bicycle. “There was a homeless tent city there for a few years. Guess it’s a tent,” one user theorized.
Google later blurred the man’s face and the mysterious object photographed on Kent Street.
