    An alleged leader of the CJNG in the state of Colima is arrested in Mexico

    The Mexican authorities arrested this Friday the alleged head of the criminal group called the Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel (CJNG) in the Colima municipalities of Cuauhtemoc, Coquimatlan and an area of ​​Villa de Alvarez, Edwin Omar ‘N’, aka ‘the Minimix’as reported by the State Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace and Security of the state of Colima, quoted by the local press.

    With intelligence data, law enforcement managed to locate the ‘Minimix’ while it was traveling in a vehicle in the town of Cerro de Ortega, municipality of Tecoman. The suspect attempted to flee, causing a chase who reached the municipality of Coahuayana, in the state of Michoacan, where he was finally captured.

    The detainee, known as one of the main generators of violence Colima, was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry so that the corresponding judicial process can continue.
