A woman was struck by lightning this Friday in the city of Kolomna, near Moscow, reported the head of the town’s district, Alexander Grechischev.
“Unfortunately, a woman was injured during the storm, when lightning struck the electric scooter near which he was. The victim was taken to Kolomna Regional Hospital with foot burns“The official wrote on his social networks.

As he explained, the doctors examined her and gave her all the necessary care. Her condition is satisfactory and she has been allowed to continue her rehabilitation at home.
A gale accompanied by heavy rain and a thunderstorm hit Kolomna on Friday, causing power outages. Several streets were flooded and 51 buildings of apartments suffered leaks. The authorities have promised to help those affected to cope with the situation.
