The relatives of the victims ask that those responsible for the double homicide be captured.
A woman and her teenage son were shot to death in the municipality of Valle de Chalco, in the State of Mexico, while they were on their way home. Her relatives ask that those responsible be captured.
The events occurred last Monday night, when Carolina, 36, was walking with her son Juan Antonio, 14, along Division del Norte Avenue, in the San Isidro neighborhood. They were accompanied by another person, whose identification has not been released, reports El Sol de Toluca.
The group was approached by two strangers on a motorcycle who forced them to stop. One of the assailants would have shot the woman and, in the middle of the attack, her son would have intervened to protect her, for which she also received bullet wounds. The third person was uninjured.
Both injured were taken to hospital, where they died. The wake was held last Tuesday..

The relatives of the victims denounce that the authorities have not manifested themselves and ask that the crime be investigated so that those responsible are arrested.
According to data from the National Public Security System, until July of this year 31,914 criminal acts had been registered in the State of Mexico. In that entity, Valle de Chalco is considered the third most violent municipality.
