The night ended with Flamengo winning their fourth title after beating Corinthians at home.
On Wednesday night, the Military Police arrested 41 fans for trying to force their way into the legendary Maracana stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, during the match played between Flamengo and Corinthians in the Brazilian Cup final before a crowd made up of more than 68,000 people.
Hundreds of agents from the Specialized Stadium Surveillance Battalion, the Shock Battalion, Cavalry and private security were deployed for the event, in which also drones were used to monitor to the fans of both teams.

According to information from the authorities, 14 people were arrested before the start of the match and another 27 during the event. A police officer was injured in one hand and had to be transferred to the Central Hospital of the Military Police.
In addition, several buses with Corinthians supporters were stoned upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, forcing agents to escort them.
The night ended with Flamengo claiming their fourth Brazilian Cup title after beating Corinthians 6-5 on penalties at home.
