Raul Gonzalez is in the middle of the controversy, after a characterization that he made last Friday in ‘Despierta America’ of a singer of corridos lying down, in particular of Featherweightand that bothered many of the viewers who follow the program on television and on their social networks every day.
The presenter is known for playing characters on the show univisionparticularly that of ‘Mrs. Meche’, which has made him more famous. However, in recent times some followers consider that he has abused this resource and on many occasions it is not funny.
On this occasion, he was introduced by his colleagues as “Peso Plomo” and in addition to arriving with the classic hairstyle of the interpreter of ‘Ella Baila Sola’, he also parodied the accent of the inhabitants of northern Mexico, particularly from Sinaloa and even brought his mariachi to do his own version of that popular song.
Through his Instagram account, “Despierta America” decided to relive the moment and was immediately filled with comments from users who showed their disagreement. “And the joke?”, “So ridiculous”, “Tastes break genres, but this was the last straw, it’s horrible” and “How ridiculous indeed, if Mrs. Meche is ridiculed, here it went too far and how do they pay so much money to do this”were some of the messages from users.
This rejection occurs in the midst of the revelations made in ‘Gossip No Like’, in which Javier Ceriani said that the show has seen the lowest ratings in its history and for that reason one of its longest-serving drivers, Victor Santiago, would have been fired after 25 years.
