“The Flash”a blockbuster from the company Warner Bros. and studies DC, is one of the biggest movie releases this summer. And days after reaching the screens, the director of the film, Andy Muschietti, says that if a sequel were authorized he would only work with the actor ezra miller reprising the lead role.
Interviewed on the podcast “The discourse” the argentine director highlighted the talent of the actor when interpreting the superhero of the comics of DC: “I don’t think there is anyone who can play that character as well as him. The other portrayals of The Flash are great, but in this particular take on the character Ezra just stood out doing it. It feels like a character made for him.”
That the green light be given to a second part of “The Flash” depends both on the results that the film has at the box office after its premiere -on June 16 in the United States- and on the authorization of James Gunn and peter safranthe current directors of DC, who did not occupy those positions when the tape was filmed two years ago. As for Miller, this film could mark a new stage in his career, which was marred by a series of legal problems that began in 2020, after being accused of bad behavior and harassment.
