olivia rodrigo has surprised his fans by informing them that on September 8 he will release his long-awaited second album. She made use of her account of instagram to publish the cover photo, in which she appears reclining on the floor and wearing a black top. The message she wrote was: “My album GUTS It comes out on September 8. I’m so proud of this record and can’t wait to share it with all of you! xoxoxoxo❤️💜💌🖤”
In a statement, the singer commented on the changes she underwent when recording this album, which was produced by Dan Nigro: “I feel like I grew 10 years between 18 and 20; it was a very intense period of discomfort and change. I think all of that is just a natural part of growing up, and I hope the record reflects that. I made most of this album when I was 19. It was a year that, for me, was filled with a lot of confusion, mistakes, awkwardness, and old-fashioned teenage angst.”
A few days ago Olivia shared the cover of the first single from GUTStitled “Vampire” and that it will be available on June 30. In the photo of her she appears in profile and wearing some lavender colored adhesive bands around her neck.
