The New York singer Mariah Carey, 54, came out very good for music, but apparently not so much for buying and selling real estate, when it became known that she had just sold off the mansion she bought in Sandy Springs, a suburb of Atlanta, during the most critical stage of the pandemic.
The property, for which she paid $5,650,000 dollarss, it has just been sold in $4,300,000 dollars.
The house was originally advertised, in September 2022, by $6,500,000 dollarsignoring the reasons that led her to sacrifice considerably her economic claims.
The new owner of the property is Michael Dickey, who is CEO of Modern Luxury Media magazine.
The mansion, which passed into the hands of Mariah Carey in November 2021, was built in 1992 and has an extension of 12,575 square feetwith nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.
It also has a lobby, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, living room, main room, cinema room, office, gym, laundry room, garage for several vehicles, among other rooms.
The kitchen is quite spacious and open. It is equipped with white cabinets, with high-end appliances, with a central island that can be used to prepare food and as a breakfast area. It also has space for a dining room table for eight people.
The master bedroom has more than enough space for a large bed and a couple of sitting areas. It also has a fireplace, a large dressing room, as well as a bathroom with a vanity, with another dressing room-style vanity, with a bathtub and with a walk-in shower.
Outside, on his lot 4.1 acresIt has extensive green areas, with a guest house, with a swimming pool with its respective spa area, with a tennis court, among other amenities.
