Ellen Degeneres is heartbroken by the death of her show’s DJ and co-executive producer, Stephen “tWitch” BossHe made it known in the heartbreaking message he issued last Wednesday afternoon.
“I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light”wrote the host and comedian from her official Instagram account along with a moving image with the also dancer.
Within her message, DeGeneres called on the public to pay respect to the family of the famous: “He was my family and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss it. Send her love and support to Allison and her beautiful children: Weslie, Maddox and Zaia,” he added.
The last time the American comedian was seen in the frame with “tWitch” was during the broadcast of the last program of ‘The Ellen Show’, at the same time that the DJ received a moving tribute on air.
“I count on him to watch and make silly jokes,” DeGeneres said. “I love you, tWitch, and you know how much. We say that to each other every day when we say goodbye. After the show, we both say ‘I love you’. He says, ‘I love you very much,’ and I say, ‘I love you.’ And therefore he will never be out of my life.”
It was during the early hours of December 14 that Allison Holker Boss, wife of the famous, confirmed in a statement to CNN that Boss had died at the age of 40. And although until then the details remained unknown, the Los Angeles County coroner confirmed that it would have been DJ himself who ended his life.
