The ‘Big Boss’ of urban music, Daddy Yankee, shared a message for his fans confessing the strongest reason why ‘Legendaddy, the last lap World Tour’ has not yet concluded in his native Puerto Rico. “A forceful fall” that the artist suffered during the tour forced him to pause before saying goodbye to the big stages.
Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez, Yankee’s real name, made the revelation through a clip on Instagram. He commented that the “logistical problems” of having the closing show in 2022 were an impediment, but that there was a much more powerful reason that he had not wanted to reveal before.
According to ‘El Cangri’, he is undergoing his rehabilitation therapies to be in good physical condition to conclude his concert tour on his ‘island of charm’.
“Recovering, trying to rehabilitate myself as soon as possible to give my best on stage. So keep an eye on the time and the day”he said in the clip to fans.
He also revealed that for the show that will close his time on the big stages he will perform the new songs.
“The Legendaddy bonus is coming, where I’ll be performing those new songs this year. We are going to sing them at the closing of the PR tour (Puerto Rico). So all those thousands of people once again have the opportunity to come to the ‘island of charm’ and enjoy with all of us that repertoire that you have made number #1 and also those new songs that we are going to release”, he said.
On February 3, the ‘Big Boss’ turned 46 years old and celebrated it at his home. The singer took the opportunity to send thanks and blessings to those who sent him good wishes on his day.
“Thanks to all my family, friends, colleagues, and all of you my fans for your good wishes on this day. Years are not celebrated every day, it is important to celebrate each one, while we are on this earth. May those good wishes multiply to all in blessings, health and life. God bless you! ”, She wrote at the bottom of a series of photos and videos showing how they sang her birthday at home.
That day one of the people who congratulated him was his friend and music representative Rafael Pina, better known as Raphy Pina, who is serving a sentence in a United States prison for a case of possession of weapons.
