The singer Chiquis Rivera presented her ‘Abeja Reina II’ tour a few days ago at the Arena Monterrey in Nuevo Leon, Mexicoa very significant place for her because It was where his mother, Jenni Rivera, sang for the last time before dying in a plane crash on December 8, 2012.

In the middle of the concert, the ‘Queen Bee’ singer sang her mother’s greatest hits such as: ‘Unforgettable’ and ‘Paloma Negra’.
In addition, he thanked the audience and offered some heartfelt words to remember the concert that Jenni Rivera gave more than a decade ago.
“I want to thank you, if there is one of you who was here that night and who was able to live that moment, that not even us, her children, lived with her, thank you. Thank you for being with my mother that night, for continuing with her, how nice!”Chiquis began by saying.
Then he added: “She is still here, live for you, for the love you have for her, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you Monterrey, a round of applause for ‘the Diva of the band’”.
After finishing his concert he had a meeting with the press in which he expressed how he felt at the event in which he also premiered his live album.
“I felt very good, I felt comfortable. I said: ‘Well, I have to represent, I have to be here, give my best because that’s what my mother taught me.’ So good”, commented to ‘En Casa Con Telemundo’ about the moment.
Afterwards he admitted that he felt like crying. “I felt it was a responsibility, I did feel a feeling. In ‘No arrival El Olvido’ she was going to cry, I felt like… I closed my eyes and said: ‘Wait, I have to be strong.’”
Likewise, she told what she thought when singing ‘Paloma Negra’, a song that her mother dedicated to her in the show she offered at the Monterrey Arena 11 years ago.
“I obviously thought of my mother, I thought of that night she sang it to me and dedicated it to me. How did I feel? Not just that night, but tonight too… that she is with me and that she loves me very much, and that we love each other (…) There were many feelings “Chiquis explained.
