The couple Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha landed in Egypt together for attending the El Gourna Film Festival., which began on October 23 and went on till October 30. Soon after reaching Egypt, Ali Fazal has shared some pictures of his lunch with some friends and organizers of the film festival through his social media handle. They had their meal on a yacht. Later in the evening, the couple had decided to go on an evening date to spend some quality time together. The couple has been dating for a long time, and we’re about to get married in April this year; however, due to the lockdown imposed because of the sudden outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, their wedding plans have been postponed.
Ali Fazal has been invited to the film festival as a part of the jury to judge the short film competition and several other notable celebrities. On the other hand, Richa Chadha was asked to be a part of the panel discussion on women empowerment. She was asked to talk about her journey on the work front.
The couple had not failed in making the heads turn at the red carpet with their formal outfits. While Ali Fazal chose to wear a classic black suit, Richa Chadha had opted for a chick pink pantsuit. The couple went on to dazzle with their look in the red carpet closing ceremony, where both Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal wore the outfit from the shelves of Shantanu & Nikhil. Richa Chadha chose to wear a dual-toned gold ruffled gown with her hair set with perfectly messy curls and adding on a dash of bright shade vermillion lipstick. She was looking incredible as ever.
On the other hand, Ali Fazal a complete set of black sherwani, which he paired with the matching pair of Christian Louboutin footwear. The couple blessed their fans with amazing pictures from the events posted on their social media handles.
Richa Chadha also informed the fans through her social media posts that all the necessary precautions were being taken throughout the film festival. She revealed that the entries to the red carpet paved the way after all the attendants had undergone the Covid-19 tests and were allowed entrance after testing negative, mentioning that they were “playing super safe.”
Both Ali Fazal & Richa Chadha are Bollywood actors and veterans for international events and film festivals. The duo has been featured in the movie ‘Fukrey’ & its sequel ‘Fukrey Returns.’ Ali Fazal has recently been seen in the sequel of the superhit web series ‘Mirzapur 2’, which gained much admiration from the audience. His film’ Victoria and Abdul’, released in 2017, was screened at the Venice Film Festival. He has also participated in many international projects like ‘Furious 7’, which was released in 2015 & was his first big international project, where he had a guest role.
He is also set to star in the movie ‘Death on the Nile’, where he will be seen sharing screen space with Kenney Branagh and Gal Gadot. Richa Chadha has also given some good movies in Bollywood. Her movies’ Masaan’ and “Ganga of Wasseypur’ were screened at the Cannes Film Festival & her film’ Words with God’ premiered at the Venice film festival. Moreover, another of her film, ’ Love Sonia’, was screened at the London Indian Film Festival.
