The dollar continues to recover in the Mexican market and today it is trading at 19.62 pesos per unit. In its maximum and minimum averages, it approaches the barrier of 20 pesos. At the bank window, the average value for purchase is 19.25 per dollar unit and for sale the price is 19.99 pesos per dollar unit.
The expectations that were held regarding the Fed’s announcements were met, the rate hike was moderate and 2022 closed with a 0.50% increase. With this, the markets are positive and expect the Fed to change its strategy to control inflation.
In the Honduran market, the dollar continues in a positive trend and is located against the lempira at 24.66 per unit of greenback. The average of maximums and minimums is 24.69 and 24.80 lempiras per dollar, respectively.
In Nicaragua, the dollar today trades with zero movement since yesterday’s close, at a price of 36.55 cordobas per unit of greenback. For buying and selling, the trend moves between 36.02 cordobas and 37.00 cordobas per dollar, respectively.
In Costa Rica, the dollar maintains a positive trend and is trading in the green at an average price of 594.62 colones per dollar. And it moves between 590.00 for the purchase and 599.25 colones per dollar for the sale.
In the Dominican Republic, the dollar is also trading in the green against the Dominican peso, with a slight movement and it begins the day at 55.30 DOP per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale it is calculated at 55.07 pesos and 55.54 DOP per dollar unit, respectively.
The dollar in Venezuela continues to rise without brake and is already trading at 15 bolivars per dollar unit. Today the dollar is sold at the rate of the central bank at 15.21 bolivars per unit of greenback. And the average range is 15.19 and 15.23 Bs. per greenback for buying and selling respectively, the trend continues to rise.
