Today’s foreign exchange market is once again in favor of the US currency. In the Mexican market, the dollar advances and since the beginning of the day the peso has lost about 7 cents. And the trend is moving upwards for the greenback.
The price of the green bill in the Aztec market today is 18.53 pesos per dollar unit, at the time of writing this note. At the bank window, the average price is between 18.52 pesos per unit for purchase, and 18.54 pesos per dollar unit for sale.
In Honduras, the dollar maintains its positive trend and the same price as yesterday against the local currency, the lempira. The average change of the day is 24.65 lempiras per unit of green bills; and for the purchase and sale, the maximums and minimums move slightly and are quoted between 24.47 and 24.84 lempiras per dollar, respectively.
In Nicaragua, the US currency maintains an average price of 36.54 cordobas per unit of green bills, and with a permanent upward trend. For buying and selling, the price remains at the same average between 36.08 cordobas and 37.00 cordobas per dollar.
In Costa Rica, the dollar continues its upward trend and the green bill is trading against the colon at a price of 559.25 per dollar unit. In the average purchase and sale, the green ticket moves between 557.65 for the purchase and 569.85 colones per dollar.
The dollar in the Dominican Republic moves very slightly compared to previous sessions. The trend remains positive and today it is trading at 56.02 DOP per unit; for buying and selling, the price moves between 55.78 pesos and 56.26 DOP per dollar unit.
For the Venezuelan market, the dollar continues to trade positively, although in recent days it has shown a slow movement. Today the green ticket is quoted by the central bank at a price of 24.35 per dollar. The average of the day is between 24.32 and 24.38 bolivars per green ticket for the purchase and sale, respectively.
